Summer Blast

Sobbing of weather, crying of sky , heavy tears flood the land and sea.

Village boats upfront, kids told on stick not to wander outside.

But kids dont listen , vacation drug make fearful and ignorance rules there world

Wandering outside counting frog , seeing swim for gold medal in the water.

Walking forward with friends cousin , water level rising , heart excitement rasing.

Boots slip and could feel water swallowing whole without mercy.

Brother friend hand rope forms lose grip holding me , less strength but great in spirit.

Flood increasing in size gallop the group at once, gone in seconds.

Family reach there , mom learn through the dangers sense heart.

Fishermen , farmers know , care than urban relations ,swim through us pull us one by one.

Aunties pull out the water , life shockingly return jarring us to listen to our elder.

Urban can grow fast , but walking away from human relations , while rural still cherishing it.
